The triangle window is the whole show: sunrise over the ridge from the bed, and in October the entire wall turns to fire. Downstairs is a proper kitchen and a wood stove; upstairs, the loft bedroom floats in the trees. Outside there's a fire pit, string lights and the kind of quiet you drove here for.

Fifteen minutes to downtown Asheville, five to the Blue Ridge Parkway ramp. Breweries, trailheads and biscuits all within reach.
